A new telehealth service will be launched on the 21 May 2022 at Isobels Medispa which will make lesion diagnosis both more affordable and convenient to our clients. Skin cancer is the most common form of cancer in New Zealand; around 70,000 Kiwis are affected each year.
Those worried about a mole can have 1-3 lesions of concern checked in one visit. The cost of this fee is $95.00. An experienced therapist trained in dermoscopic photography will take images of the lesions using the latest mobile technology. The images will then be sent by a secure link to an accredited skin cancer doctor along with the patient’s history and details for review. Patients can then expect a diagnostic report emailed to them within 5-7 days.
